just got a personal trainer

never had one, im sure they could help out massivly though....guidence while working out helps a great deal.

I have a series of workouts that I'll give you.

It's 3 series; A, B, and C.

there's 12 exercises in each, no more than 30sec rest and 2min rest inbetween every 3 exercises.

well,he says he can get me in alot better shape then im in in 6 weeks.i think hes talking about indurance.and i do need the motivation right now

I'm gonna post it here for everybody.

BNP = Behind neck press.
Dumbell Alt Toee Touch, if I were anyone else I wouldn't do this one in public. it's just a bit strange though you'll really feel it develop some core muscles. I guess picture yourself as making a crucifix with light dumbells in either hands and while keeping your arms straight, reach to one side/leg then the other.

Hanging Double Leg Eagles: I like these but dread them the most. Get up like you're doing pull ups but with wider hand positions. Then, with arms straight, lift your legs to one side/arm then down again then to your other arm. For just starting this exercise, just go straight up n down and when you feel ballsy enough then try it that way. THEN if you're feeling stud, get a medicine ball, pick it up between your legs and do this.

we're supposed to do a set of 10, 10 each side/leg/arm/etc... but I only do 10, 5 on each leg, when it comes to this. It's difficult at first but once you get into it then you'll notice a huge difference in your core, abs, shoulders, and lats.

Back hyperexternsion: find a glute/ham bench or Roman Chair for this. if you don't have one available get a bar(45lbs) put it on your shoulders and do good mornings with it. You'll get the same effect.

If ya have any questions, feel free to ask. I know I asked quite a few when I first started this.

Typically how we handle this series is when first starting off, we did 2x10 of everything. then after 2-3weeks we do 3x10 of everything.

Start with series A for the first 2-3 weeks. Then B then venture out to C. If you follow the parameters set. no more than 30 sec rest inbetween every 3 exercises and no more than a 1-2min rest inbetween the completion of 3 exercises then I promise you a world of feelings that you never knew you of.

These workouts may look very similar but they're arranged differently to affect your body in a certain way.

like in B and C, the leg curls are before the back hyperextensions bc you tighten the legs with leg curls and then promote this stretch reflex exercise with back hypers. you'll be feeling this in your hamstrings the next day.

if you did 2x10 of everything...  I mean not EVERYTHING like start with A then in 2-3weeks goto B then C.

You'll notice a tremendous difference in your body. I promise you. :smile:  You don't even have to go balls to the wall but as long as you treat it as semi-cardio and not taking long breaks inbetween then you'll see the results.

I know guys that are 50... he's an ex-marine... but yeah even if ya don't follow this religiously at least it'll give ya some ideas.
