Debilitating shocks

Well I searched this site and google using such keywords as "shock" and "jolt" with little to no helpful results. So I ask here, is it common to experience something that feels like an electrical surge while tripping shrooms?
Since my second time tripping (just had my 5th yesterday) I've been getting these surges shortly after the shrooms start to kick in, then they happen periodically during the trip. I notice them at times when I try to focus on all my surroundings at once.
If this is common and I searched wrong, Im sorry. Any answer however would be great.

You couldn't find it because there is no clinical or commonly accepted term for the occurrence, but I assure you that it is very common. Me and my friends have always called it a "psili-rush", as we have always described the phenomenon as a "rush of psiliness". Strangely, I have never heard this topic discussed at the shroomery (which is a rare thing), but everyone I know that trips seems to feel the same thing. What causes these "psili-rushes" (as best as I can explain it) is when something really profound happens, or you see something extremely trippy and your body goes into a short shock, where the muscles tense and the brain explodes (not literally) with activity and, usually, dopamine as well. The psili-rush is nothing dangerous or life threatening. In fact, most people I know strive to experience it. I hope that explains what you are feeling.

My first mushroom trip I had these happening all the time. It felt very pleasurable like mini orgasms. Unfortunately I never got them again. Its my guess that they will wear out. Good feeling though.

Yeah you hit it dead on.
See, I do happen to enjoy them, and often try to almost force them while tripping. The other few friends Ive tripped out with however, never said they got them when I asked.
Odd that it really isn't discussed here. Mini-orgasm is about the only way to describe it too haha, the way your whole body tenses.
I had a somewhat bad trip last night =( my brain was convinced that the shocks were bad. When I tried to calm myself down I had a mini panic attack cause of the awesome(well not at the time) shroom filter on everything that wouldnt go away. It's all good though, I latched onto a bag of fresh cherries as a distraction XD

my friend took mushrooms with me in a field and somehow we drifted into part of town where it was still quiet and we were alone. and my friend stopped in front of this car and just started twitchin all crazy, he said he felt like electricity was shooting through his body. though he was just trippin i dont think it was anything.
