Hello,
I'm going to cultivate some tampanensis sclerotia but I need some more informations about this special culture.
I've found two different recipes for this strain, one using whole white rice and the other one using rye grass seed. But for cubensis I usually use birdseed(77% millet) wich I also wanted to use of tampanensis. Can somebody tell me if that will give good scletorias ? Can cracked corn alsobe used ?
(sorry for my bad english)

Millet will work pretty good, but I had terrible yields with corn. Grass seed worked best but I never tried the rice formulations.

It's a bit ambiguous for me .. Do you mean that you had great or very bad results ?
I can't find any rye grass seed here, that's why I've to choose something else. Thanks for your help guys

And can i say that tampensis - despite what you might have read - is probably the most potent fruit-body producer of any commonly and readily cultivated indoor species (mexicanna, pans, tamps, cubies and Pan subbs). The stones arent as potent, so dont always think that because they are easier they are better. If i had a print of this species i would be fruiting it! Blow your head off mate.
