Ello, I need a bit of help further identifying this little fellow. I founf it in the middle of Colorado. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, please see the sticky threads on the top of the page.. more info is going to be needed to start on an ID. I can hardly even see the gills from the picture.

We definitely need a lot more description than that.
I was out hunting today (in Colorado) and found mushrooms that were reasonably similar to your photo from at least three different genera that I can think of off the top of my head. The most obvious possibilities are Inocybe, Cortinarius, and Tricholoma. I'm sure that, with a little thought, that I could come up with several other possibilities.

Yeah, that description is scant! Rather ambiguous looking shroom from that single picture, as ToxicMan described.

Thanks for the help. The shroom is far too gone to get anymore from by now. I'll just toss it and grab some more next time I'm up and make sure to document better. OH! and thanx for the heads up on the fair tomorrow, I'll definately be there. Take it easy!
