yay...alice in chains...
so who's doing lead vocals?
maybe the crowd should bring complimentary needles and throw them at the stage for good luck
na na na na na na na na hey hey hey good-bye!
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

William DuVall, the lead singer of the band Comes With the Fall, has been named as Alice In Chains' lead vocalist for the band's summer European tour dates. However, William will not be taking on this key role alone. While we can't name names, let's just say that some European fans are in for some very special treats.
^my guess is this guy will do the main duties. wes scantlin from puddle of mudd has jammed with aic post-layne along with a few other vocalists and guitarists from a pretty kickass show that was on torrent a while ago.
i'm sure all the people who worshipped the old heroin addict know the exact show i speak of
i have it but i'm not uploading holla.

I feel like I know what you are referring to, I once heard a really shitty clip of AIC with like 3 or 4 singers onstage, one being Maynard.
So in my infinitely wise conclusion-jumping, I now pronounce: Maynard is definitely going on tour with AIC. Oh and Ozzy is on background vox...

imo lachman sounds the best, but i wish jerry would do the vox. i'm beyond this dream now, though. in this situation it's really not about what the fans want; i think most of us just want them back on the road. i'd settle for justin timberlake, just so mike sean and jerry would play alongside him

I've read in a few different magazines that it'll be Maynard, one of the singers from Heart, Phil Anselmo.. maybe more?
That might be out of date info though, it's been a couple of months since I read that.

I wish they would pick Travis Meeks of DOTN...I think they would mesh perfectly. Give Days of the New II a listen to see what I mean.
If not, Jerry should take the helm and hire another great guitarist that can write.

Why? Layne played guitar sometimes...Jerry could still play lead, they just need help writing new stuff I think.

eh, i was thinking jerry taking layne's position as he had it, and letting someone else be the "guitarist"
that to me would be blasphemy, but ultimately it's their choice. while jerry was a big creative force in aic, i don't think any new material is gonna have that same magic... but that's a given i guess. i'm just happy it's happening again, because i have yet to see AiC live. definitely my favorite overall band, i think

Man, what is your problem with alice in chains? What the hell is wrong with heroin users anyway? I always find it funny when the "accepting, open, loving" face of some people fall away to hatred for someone they dont know.
Methinks you need to do some heroin, chum. You've got some false sense of superiority and getting flattened by the opiate steamroller would do you good to put you back in your place.
i mean, come on dude.
