conversations you have heard from/between your teachers or parents?
you don't have to dig down very far to find these allies.

on my last trip (i posted a report here... "fate?") i was walking through a feild of tall weeds and was feeling much like your self "purly an animal" not just a person... i bent over to smell this plant and instinctively took a bite off the top of the weed!!!
i wasn't prepered for that AT ALL!!! it was simply the right thing to do and i was careless enough to let it happen...
first couple of seconds it tasted pretty good but after that the taste got SO strong and it started stinging the hell out of my mouth and tongue i had to spit it out :tongue:
it felt like it can't really hurt me only inflict some pain... the message was pretty clear though, those weeds were saying "we're NOT food... move along" :smirk:

Mushrooms make your consciousness expand so it's understandable why you herd this. I think it was still you, your own voice, coming from another lever of understanding or consciousness. Mushrooms break the barriers between unconscious, subconscious, conscious and super conscious, when YOU
are on different states and different levels of awareness and understanding.
It's said that the best teachers don't really teach you stuff, they just make you remember what you already know or got a glimpse on once or twice.
Mushrooms have this great ability. Every time I trip, no matter how "prepared" I am, I am still blown away by how this thing works.
Also I'm sure you heared while tripping on shroom (this time or some other time that you tripped) some "weird" sounds, music and other stuff like that. I think it is there all the time, only that we can hear it in that psychedelic state. Like seeing the energy moving.
It's all there, all the time, your voice on many levels as well.
