Hmm... those don't really look like P. cubensis mushrooms to me..

They look a lot more like Copelandia cyanescens.

You can't really get a good ID when you just put a big pile of shrooms together and take a picture. So I really can't tell for sure. It is possible that you have a mixed collection of Panaeolus and Copelandia.

Yep, probably a mixed collection.

:confused:Sorry, I can't say for sure.

im fairly sure they're all cubes. Some are scorched by the sun but they all bruise blue and they all leave black spore prints. So doesnt that meet the qualifications?

It also meets the qualifications of Copelandia cyanescens, even more so than for cubes. Copes are much, much more potent than cubes, so nice finds! If any don't bruise blue, they may be inactive pans.

ts727: no, those are not cubensis. the pan. cyaensis people are talking about also bruise blue, and are very strong. they are active, but they have no vail like cubensis.... they're actually quite different looking.

Wrong!

You have a mixed bag of Copes and Pans.. The Copes being active and the Pans being non active..
You may have a couple Cubes in the mix but you need to separate all your finds due to lack of knowledge!
I'm not flaming you but if you are calling all them Cubes than you obversely have some learning to do!

Nice finds by the way!
