Outdoor surprise, need advice!

So, one of my PF Tek BRF cakes got contaminated a while back. I crushed it up and dug a little area in the ground outside and put it in. 3 weeks later (today) and I have about 10 primordia. I haven't done anything to it in this 3 week period. What should I do at this point besides keeping it moist? Thanks and peace.

keep it moist.
haha not being a smartass but its not a particularly big patch if its just a crumbled cake... and mother nature managed to get it this far so she'll probably provide the rest for you too.

After closer inspection, there are actually MANY more pins than what I originally stated. This is good. Yeah, I'm for sure going to keep it moist. If only I could post some pics. I took some with my cell phone but not sure on how to get the pics on a computer. Data cable maybe? Well, thanks for the advice. I'm gonna tend to my little babies. Peace

Congrats! At this point nature should pretty much take care of it for you. Keep it moist, and let her hold the reigns. She's been doing it a lot longer than you anyways
Only other suggestion i could make would be to put something around it to keep animals/birds/children from tromping over them. I can only imagine how much it'd suck to see a beautiful outdoor flush, only to see it smashed under little feet

You may want to consider putting a ring of salt around it.
Slugs will eat the crap out of your crop.
Also, don't expect the fruits to get very big especially if there are many pins, but good luck, I hope you get something out of it!

It's in Minnesota and it gets to 85 degrees in the day to around 50 at night. I have it underneath a trampoline so it has indirect sunlight during the day. I'm also trying the salt ring. Happy shrooming!

Your damn right I got something out of it First flush picked and dried weighed out at 2.2 grams. Not very big shrooms like you said, on average they were about 2 inches tall but they had big, beautiful caps. Yay for mother nature!
