Things in the grass
    #5949927 - 08/10/06 08:52 AM (17 years, 5 months ago)

If a dog shits in the grass why do you care?

I don't litter.
I always throw my (extinguished)cigarette butts in the garbage.
I'll walk around all day with receipts and gum wrappers in my pocket if I'm not near a trashcan.
But, if my dog has to take a shit I find the first patch of grass and let her go.

Why?
Because, dog-shit belongs in the grass.

"Bullshit," you say.
No, dog-shit, and its the truth.
I have been around dogs my entire life (whole packs of'em), and I'll swear before any deity that cares to witness that dogs shit in grass, and regardless of the wishes of ignorant dog hating jackasses they always will.

"But, I might step in it," these ignorant bastards say.
Yeah, and you might step in an anthill too, so watch where your going. And, by the way, if your wearing shoes so nice that bit of dog-shit will ruin them forever than you need to stop walking in the grass dumb-ass.

The simple philosophical point of this is of course "shit happens", though I hold out little hope of reaching new minds, because, unfortunately the folks who are offended by dog-shit are the same folks who spray herbicides on their weeds, pesticides on their ants and industrial "fertilizers" on their "beautiful" lawns, and these folks don't keep dogs because their bubble-boy children have asthma and allergies and they'd probably soil themselves every time "Kujo" the chihuahua gets aggressive.

In closing, should you see a pile of dog-shit in your day stop for a second and contemplate its fleeting existence as it will soon dry to dust and blow away with the wind, and if you should see a dog shitting on the sidewalk go kick its owner in the ass cause that's just wrong.

Peace, ..V,

There are a few dog owners who pick up their dog's shit while out walking, but not many. Most are like you, and take their dog for a walk to someone else's yard to crap so they they don't have to look at it in their yard.

I don't hate dogs, just the ignorant jackass dog owners who let their dogs crap everywhere and just leave the shit where it lands.

So, keep your bitch out of my yard or you may find your ass being lifted up by a size 11 hiking boot.

"keep dogs because their bubble-boy children have asthma and allergies"

astham and allergies are very serious, debilitating, and can bring upon a lifetime of suffering.

this is not a fair statement to make at all.

have you ever thought it very likely that you were about to die from not being able to breathe?

My neighborhood is a small circle boardering two parks, along the north side of our subdivision there exists a path that runs parallel with some neighbors backyards until emptying out into the greenbelt. A neighbor had enough of irresponsible dog owners not picking up their pets poop. So one day he put on his matching grey sweatsuite and proceded to the path with a shovel. As if for no other reasons than to cry "why god why!?" he made a fantastic pile of shit about 2.5 feet tall and 2-3 feet in diameter at the entrance to said path.

Yeah I don't see the big deal. I say keep the grass short so you can see the dogshit. People will step on it if it's in plain sight on pavement so w/e lol.
