This is a Cubensis Cambodia grow kit I bought from magicmushrooms.org. I sterilized my grow chamber thoroughly before setting it off and used sterilized water to moisten it.
I’ve used this method and grow chamber in the past successfully with other grow kits with good results. Never any green mold.
I can only assume that the kit was already contaminated??
The first pic is from 4 days in. Small patches of green appeared on the surface of the cake.
The second pic is after 5 days when I gave up. I’ve tipped the cake out of its foil tray so you can see the bottom and extent of the green mold throughout the cake.
magicmushrooms.org claim to offer a replacement policy if there grow kits doesn’t fruit. I have to send the grow kit back to them though.

Get it out of your house NOW. I'm not sure how the kit was set up, but the green in that first picture has been growing a lot longer than four days. The green takes at least a week to ten days to get that bad. Try sending them the picture first. That should suffice. I doubt seriously they'd want that thing sent to them. RR

Do you see where the mold has taken to in the first pic? The substrate isn't 100% colonized yet, as you can clearly see the mold's set in on the uncolonized areas. It was birthed to early, or the substrate wasn't pasteurized properly. Regardless, it wasn't done colonizing.

Oh holy fucking chirst get that out of the area if you ever want to grow again!!
The vendor will certainly not want that sent to them. Show them the pics and tell them you tossed it, cause RR and other folks on the site told you to. They will be HAPPY you did not send them zillions of green mold spores.
It does not appear to be your fault, as it looks like the colonization set foot in the bottom of the tray. It's possible that the contaminant was introduced after you recieved it, but I would say it is unlikely.
