Thanks for looking... Found these sprouting in the grass on the way to class. Rhymes are stupid.

Habitat: Grass
Gills: Gills are dark brown to very very dark purple, nearly brown.
Stem: Light to dark brown. Very stringy.
Cap: Deep brown, darker around the edges.
Spore print color: In progress...
Bruising: No color change was observed.
Location: Picked in southern OR.
-------------------------------------------------------------- I can make any observations and take more pics if need be. Also, I put them in front of a fan to try them out. That should work just fine right?
Thanks in advance.

Next time, please refer to the sticky threadds on top of the Forum, one by Eris and one by Gumby- those threads out line proper ID etiquette.
Anyhow, Those are not Liberty Caps (Psilocybe semilanceata), however, they appear to the the mildy active mushroom Panaeolus subbalteatus also referred to as "subbs". Make a spore print of the mushrooms in the top photos, and leave the cap in place to print for atleast 6 hrs, preferrably longer. If you need info on how to spore print, see the stickied threads.

Start post looks pretty decent now! I'd say they're some sort of panaeolus, but don't quote me on that. As CureCat already mentioned, they're definitely not liberty caps. Keep on looking, seems you're browsing through appropriate habitats!

If you get a brown spore print, you have Panaeolina foenisecii maire, which is inactive. If the print is jet black, then it is most likely Panaeolus subbalteatus. It is sometimes dfficult to be certain, as many Panaeolus species can be hard to distinguish from one another.
Furthermore, you may have a mixed collection, so if you consider eating subbs, the safest measure will be to spore print every single mushroom. Yes, i know this is tedious.
Good job on editing!!

The print is brown, flush it down...
Thanks for the info. I'm reading up on how to identify so hopefully my future posts won't be so noobish.
