Eye-sight and depth perception

Lately ive felt that my eye sight isnt as good as it use to be.
Today i took 4g's and the visuals were mind blowing. While walking through the woods with a few friends, everything became one. I tried to look at my friends and our surroundings but everything lacked depth. It was like looking at a 2D picture with all slits and cuts in it. For example, a branch on a tree 50 feet away would be slicing in and connecting with a rinkle/shadow on my friends shirt (except not just one branch, like thousands of tiny connections/slits), etc, etc.
Anyone ever experience this type of visual?
In the past 4-5 months ive been tripping pretty frequently, both acid and mushrooms. Could there be any type of connection between the "lack of a third dimension" and my eye sight seeming to fade away?

Oh, did you mean the altered sight continued after the drug wore off? Definitely never happened to me since I never go crazy with those kinds of things.

I get two dimensionalism when I'm on mescaline. Never had it on shrooms though.

I've never have everything go 2D to me on mushrooms or acid... however...
On my first (and only) salvia trip (I smoked wayyy too much), I remember the entire world turning into a flat, almost one dimensional image. Now, I sort of have a feeling that everything is 2D on LSD, but it's never overwhelming.. this, on the other hand, was so intensely real (the world being a flat piece of paper, for instance) that I couldn't even distinguish the distance between a gate in front of me and the clouds miles away - it all looked and felt, and as far as I could tell, real. Of course it didn't last long, but boy - that was weird. I've never had it on mushrooms though, perhaps it's not the same effect.

Well, that is 2D - the third dimension is depth, and that was the only one you were missing. I don't think it's possible (even with drugs) for something to have only width or heighth. Personally, when things lose depth, it just looks like a picture, and I am able to get more comprehensible geometric designs on a flat surface. With depth it's just fucking confusing.

Well after the trip the eye sight is back to normal, for a majority of the trip its fine to begin with. There was just about 30 mins when were were hiking and mostly everything lacked depth.
What im askin is, sometimes ill be at work and my boss will give me a paper with stuff to do on it and i cant read it, it difficult to explain, its like i cant focus on it and read it. Or even with highway signs, sometimes i will look at them but just cant read them.
I might just over reacting like the first replier said, but it definitely seemed like it was hurtin my eyes when i couldnt see

I have the same thing. I keep telling myself its all in my head, but I'm not too sure anymore. Like the only way I can really tell how far away something is, is by moving about 10 feet and looking at how it changes compared to the background.
Who needs depth perception anyway.
