Obtaining horse poo
    #5945257 - 08/08/06 07:03 PM (17 years, 5 months ago)

I've always done bulk grows using strictly straw before because it always worked. Now I thinking about switching over to H/poo. I was just wondering if anyone good give me any suggestions as to excuses I could give the local horse stable in case they ask why I am in need of dry H/poo? This may seem like a silly question, but I live in a smaller town where weird requests like this may cause unwanted interest. I could just order it online, but it seems silly to spend the money if a free source is readily available. Thanks for any help.

dress up in a rainbow shirt and frilly pants and tell them its for your rose garden

seriously though hpoo is... fertilizer. its not a wierd request, i garuntee they get it all the time. they're also probably more than happy to have you haul away a pile of shit for them. its win-win.

For fertilizing your flower beds, vegetable garden, to start a compost pile.

Or, to roll in naked, as you have a fecal fetish (JOKE)

Say "I'm going to slap it into my face and eat it... what the fuck do you care what I do with it, I'm taking horse crap off your land.. leave me be!"

Or, you can just go "I need it for a ______ garden" (mushroom garden will probably not due)

Trust me, if you knock on the door with a large bag and a shovel and ask for some, they will welcome you with open arms. They don't give a darn what you want it for, they're glad to get rid of it.

You don't need an excuse, they know it's not used for anything but fertilizer, so you don't need to explain to them that wheels are round or trees have trunks.
