hey guys, hers the situation. the power went out the other night, and it was about 100 degrees outside. the next day my friend's jars had some weird coloration and what i thought looked like over moisture. heres the best case scenario: then the worst case: he said they didnt look to be slowing down as far as myc growth..but the question is, are they going to be ok? about 75% have this occuring in different cylces. i looked all around for something on this, but to no avail, so if they is some material on it, im sorry i couldnt find it. my friend is freaking out though so any help is appreciated guys. i could also get more pictures taken if those dont suffice, thanks guys. peace

i got kinda contradicting responses, retro says i can shake it, and 420 says their as good as dead, 420 seems pretty knowledgable, no disrespect intended, but could i get a second opinion? he'd be throwing away a pretty good amount

Listen to hyphae. He has the experience. That isn't just moisture. It's a separate zonate growth. Also, how would you shake a pf jar even if you wanted to? Often times, failed projects will recover and grow if you put them in a moist, shady spot in your garden. Bury it with some manure and cover with cardboard for a week or two. RR

I had that happen to a few of my PF jars. I put them in a cooler room immediately. Now that the temp has normalized they seem to be doing better. It looks to me like my myc has recovered after a few days optimal temps. But I could be wrong. Some of the more experienced guys say to chuck it. Use your instincts. Most people here will tell it's not worth the risk to keep it. They are probably right.
