take better shots of the stems. Is there any blueing on the stems? I couldnt see any from the pics. I have no experience with this species but the stems seem wrong to me.

yes they do bruise blue, I also believe they are wrong the stems perhaps its not caerulescens but another species or variant

Wow those pics are awesome - just growing outa the mud like that. :laugh: Interesting about the aucklandii comparison, as they also seem to grow straight out of clay-like substrates.

Notice the bluing in the cap of that one, and the bruising of the stems is poorly noticeable due to the dark color of the stem. any one think its a new species? or is it really actually caerulescens?

the macroscopic characteristics put me in mind of zapotecorum, but ive never had much to do with mexican psilocybes.

MJ?? i dont think they are caeru's cos of the short stem, but perhaps i dont know anything either... cactu can you give me some info for contacting El Guason Guzman??

my friend send me those babys woa amazing find my amigo , and sure you can contact gazton guzman any time i will send you the information , those look a lot like villarealii well guzman said it was endemic of jalisco maybe this is the same but only and expert could tell , and there are more endemic hope we can find many more my friend airdog , like galindii that live is mazamitla ,manzanilla de la paz and tamazula, sub cordiospora, from tonila , thas more closer to you , well maybe villareallii bein a big spore producer is spreding to colima state too..

I saw your pics of villarealii and they dont seem similar to me... first they grow on a diferent habitat and diferent substrate, have diferent shape and color...
