You can, or you can dehydrate them and reconstitute in water later. We split these up between three of us and cooked a lot that night.

I was warned that they get really really tough if you dry them and reconstitute....

I have had dried chants before and they just don't taste good to me at all. Fresh though, mmmmm.
Great haul ladle3000.

Good to know they suck dried. I've only had them fresh and frozen up to this point, and plan on using the ones I have fresh. I made some mushroom burgers out of the last batch I found that were pretty good: chanterelles, gr peppers, onions, garlic, bread crumbs, white wine, salt and pepper... and smoked some cbd prerolls since I'm a lightweight these days, lol

This is proven true. When you dry them, you can grind them up into a powder, make a thick frying batter out of it, and drop some hush puppies with some, etc. Even after you re - wet after drying, AND cook on low for 90 mins, they are still tough,. Don't dry them if you wanna eat soft mushrooms. Sautee and free

What do you mean? Are you referring to the picture of them cooking? If so, that's oil, white wine, salt and pepper.
