need some help with my casing!!!!!!!

hey everybody wussups.
i have a question about a casing done about 5 days ago. i did a simple casing using about an inch of jiffy mix on the bottom, an inch and a half of 100% colonized substrate in the middle, and about a 1/4 inch casing layer of jiffy mix on top. its been sitting in a bread pan covered with foil in my incubator. ive misted the top casing layer because i thought that i looked dry today, and theres like two or three nice sized pins growing from underneath the casing layer. to further clarify: the mycelium hasnt poked through the top casing layer yet!!! not at all. just the jiffy mix is seen from a top.
-what should i do with those pins? do i pick them? should i go ahead and throw the casing into my grow chamber? im stumped. this is my very first attempt at casing. its been 5 days colonizing now. please help homie out.

If it appeared dry, then you may have sealed it when you wet it again. If the pinns are large, go ahead and put them in the growing chamber, but if not, deep scratch and remoisten the casing.:)bluhoney

thanks blu oh by the way happy easter.
whats the proper way to deep scratch??? cause ive attempted casing before and this same thing happened, and all i did was brush away some of the top casing layer so i could see what the problem was, but instead, it started to mold the day after. so this time thats why im afraid to move away that top casing layer.
the three pins in the corner of the casing is getting bigger by the hour haha. what could i do to save this casing or atleast not mess it up?
