DEA touring with

I'm sorry but the aggrivation has just been rising lately...
The DEA is apparently touring with an exhibit on drugs. Here's how they describe it: “This one-of-a-kind exhibit graphically shows how U.S. illegal drug sales not only fund global terrorism, but also how drugs terrorize all of us. The drug trade is a cash cow for many of America’s worst enemies, with nearly half of all foreign terrorist organizations tied to it. Here at home, drugs exact a devastating toll--from toxic meth labs, to drugged drivers on our roads, to thousands of endangered children across America. ”
I find this funny : "The Chicago Police Department has adopted a number of new strategies to go after the drug dealers – including surveillance cameras and tough enforcement of our gang-loitering ordinance, but public education is still a great tool to fighting drugs in our city.” It's funny, cause I agree that education is key, but their education seems somewhat one minded... and not really education.
This exhibit is coming to Chicago, and I was contemplating going to see it. This exhibit isn't exactly new news (d'oh! on my word choice), but I just discovered it. And while it will probably be only an excercise in frustration and agitation, it may still be worth it. You must be educated about your enemy in order to take him down. (not to imply that I, one man, plan on taking it down.)
Comments? Suggestions? Rants? Obviously, just let this die if it irritates no one like it does me. (ALSO, do NOT post any links to the DEA. just for anyone that might not have known.)

Im starting a club for sensible drug policy at my college next year. Ive already been in contact with the national leaders of the group, and they said a great idea would be to protest this when it comes to our town.

Stage not a protest but our own "education". Let them make their point about illegal drugs funding terrorism then we make the point that if they were legal they would no longer fund terrorists. Put that power in the legal hands of U.S. citizens!

I would rather fund terrorists with my drug money then fund the pigs in Israel with my tax dollars.

Fight Terrorism: GROW YOUR OWN!! BUY DOMESTIC!!! VOTE LIBERTARIAN!!!! BOYCOTT THE T.V.!!!! EXPAND YOUR MIND!!!! QUESTION AUTHORITY!! EVADE TAXES!!!!!!!!! DON'T BUY FORIEGN FUEL!!!! RIDE A HORSE!!!!!!!! GO TO LEGALIZATION RALLIES!!!!! JOIN NORML!!!!!!!!!! SPEAK THE TRUTH!!!!! SET AN EXAMPLE!!!!!! BE PROACTIVE!!!!!!!! LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR!!
Well you get the point, to hell with these lying bastards. Its the drug laws that are causing so much death and upset, far more than any drug. If drugs are terrorizing our youth then why don't they stop perscribing so much of them to everybody. The answer is clear: This is a war on SOME DRUGS, the ones that they cannot control, everything else is far game.

yikes. Im glad I live in Holland. I got my drug education from employees of a clinic that treats drugaddicts. They were really open and honest about it, they really knew what they were talking about, and they had used all kinds of drugs themselves. The good thing also was that they didnt have a 'just say no' attitude. Instead they brought along an alcoholic and a heroin addict who told about their addictions, which left a lasting impression on everyone. They were even quite positive about some drugs like pot, xtc and shrooms. Though they kept repeating that you should prepare well and use in moderation.
Maybe you guys should try to setup drug education like that if you can ..

I can't see schools allowing the Shroomery Education Team give talks to pupils somehow. But its a great thought .

Sweet, the exhibit is coming to chicago for a few months soon. Ill go and hopefully there will be someone to for asking questions. A brief overview talks about the main points of the exhibit.
Links to terrorism ......legalize it
Huge cost to government .....legalize and tax it
Drugs and the body ....Sure drugs may not be healthy, but neither is cigarettes, alcohol, fast food, etc. And its my body, i do what i want!
Law enforcement ......haha $60 billion a year, and I can get a bag of weed in 15 minutes. Good job!

If drugs are funding terrorists, and the US is so against terrorists, why not legalize drugs? Doesn't that seem like it would automatically stop money from going into terrorist pockets? Then again is it true that drugs are funding terrorists? Who know I don't even think the people making up drug prophghanda can keep up with they're own lies anymore.

I was planning on doing the same thing. Just showing up and asking some hard and irritating questions to those in charge. However, this is an exhibit, is there going to be someone there to actually talk to? And do I really want to make my face known? But I'll probably end up going either way.

Smack, not weed. Also, an 1/8th of smag from columbia probally funds the FARC more than a gallon of gas.
