Motion Sensor that turns OFF lights?

Hey All,
I've been looking around and was wondering if anyone knows about a motion sensor that will turn off your lights (or any other electronic device) when movement is detected. I realize that motion senors traditionally turn on lights, but I was just wondering if this sort of thing existed/was possible. Also, most motion sensors have a built in timer which would turn the lights back off after movement wasn't detected for three minutes or whatever. I of course would need it to work in reverse and turn the lights back on again.
I was thinking of rigging up a switch to the door, so that if it was opened, the lights would shut off, but a motion sensor would be tops I think.
Suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Maybe a traditional sensor coule just be rewired?

I suppose they COULD be rewired, I'd have to look into that. Also, the lights in question are fluorescent.
Thanks for the input dude.

right on man
so you're going to rig this so that if somebody comes near your house, it turns off, then when the coast is clear it flips back on?

Exactly dude
If anyone comes within a certain range, the motion sensor turns OFF all the lights and fans or anything that would make noise. Also, the motion sensor would then turn it all back on after a preset time, like 5 min.
It would add a level of security and would only cause minimal disruption the to plants.
Sound like a good idea?

well i've never grown weed. are closet grows usually the way to go for personal use?
i don't know what kind of setup you have, but i wouldn't want to grow in a place where it received very much unexpected traffic. but i guess it's the unexpected shit that always messes things up.

You need a 120VAC relay that shuts off when power is applied and a standard motion sensor light. Know any electronics dudes? They should be able to wire that up. Whole project can be done around $30 i bet.
