for whoever cares.. just read an semi-interesting story over on espn.. Jay Cutler has been officially promoted to 2nd string and will serve as back up to Jake Plummer.. and Mike Bell is now the starting running back for them.. beating out both ron dayne and tatum bell

I dont believe the runnign back news for a second.
Nobody is making roster moves set in stone this early. I would imagine thats just an announcement to get Dayne/Bell working harder. Theres what, 5? 6? weeks until the season starts?
Thats alot of time.

is it that long... well thats just what the acticle read on espn.. i kinda believe it.. denver didnt really have a clear cut starter ne wayz.. so its really not a surprise

Yeah, I read the same article.
All I'm saying is that nobody is going to start an undrafted rookie running back over two guys with experience in the league. Sure, they may say it now, but come game day, Tatum Bell is going to be in the backfield.

id much rather see tatum bell running the ball personally.. but then again.. anyone can run behind that denver o-line.. one of the best in the league and its been that way for the past decade

well i just got done watching "denver training camp" on NFL TV.. and im actually Sold on him starting the regular season as the number 1 back.. his speed was a little under that of Tatum Bell, but his agility and ball vision was remarkable
his only flaw will be in pass protection.. not that tatum would do a better job.. however they will probably bring in ron dayne on shotgun formation.
