I know that substrate vs. potency had been beat stiffer than a dead horse. So, I pose this question: Does substrate affect taste? I was just wondering because the one's from BRF cakes at least mexicubes don't taste that yummy

Fresh to me taste like the store bought kind, which I don't like but I don't not like. Its just odd tasting but nothing near gag worth, not even stomach turning.
Dried taste good to me, for whatever reason. I don't know. I just love them dried and I would eat them as a snack if they weren't psychedellic.

I've grown cubes on a lot of different substrates and they all tasted horrible, fresh or dried. But the bad taste's worth it

They always gag me too, but mrs rabbit munches the fresh ones slowly, going hmmmm, these taste so good....
Usually however, we're not eating for the flavor. RR
