Combineing PF Tek with horse dung

I've used the PF tek and know how simple it is especialy cause i dont have a pressure cooker and need to steam the jars
but i'de like to start useing a diffrent medium than brown rice flower, and i can't steam grains or popcorn seeds
so im wondering if someone could explain to my stupid ass how to make a good mixture using horse poo aswell

I've used traditional PF and then done a crumble & case to a pasteurized poo/straw substrate mixture with good success.
Regarding the PF jars themselves, you need to start with a sterile medium. Don't try using poo for that; you'll be disappointed. Poo works as a substrate because there are some beneficial organisms in there, which is why you pasteurize not sterilize.
Regarding your "stupid ass" -- read some teks. There are some good ones here if you use the search. Read, read, read, then read some more.

Uh, gee, isn't that exactly what I'm doing? Maybe I didn't convey that.
BTW, I mainly use wbs or rye now, but PF is a trusty standby... I've always cased cakes, either directly or spawning to poo as I *thought* I described above.

I often use simple substitutes for BRF - well more to the point i use verm to keep the moisture high in wood, manure and grain substrates because it does it well.
