Not growing evenly

For some reason all of My shrooms are popping up and growing at different times. I don't know how I can do it in flushes. some of the shrooms are just pin and some are completely full grown and dropping spores. Is there some way to even things out?

Provided you're following standard pinning procedures, no. Some strains/substrains just do that. I've seen it many times. RR

So it would just be best to pick them as they mature? I'm not sure at what point I should dunk? just when they stop growing?

just pick them one at a time, i've never had a problem doing it this way. when there are no more pins, dunk your cakes.

thanks for the advice. I was going to just pull everything off and dunk to see if it would even them out. I will try it your way and just take them as they come. I Am getting a lot off of these cakes like this though so I cant complain. I have pulled off about 20 good sized ones so far.

If picking a large fruit will damage pins next to it, just carefully slice it off with a knife. Pick the stump when you pick the others nearby. RR

I have noticed that with a careful twist and a pluck (like picking a grape) I can Get "most" of my mature shrooms out that are right next to pins and other shrooms,

What you are experiencing is fairly common.
It is the "first come, first served" syndrome.
Several pins with first exposure to FAE, and light. Will hog the moisture from the substrate. As they grow larger, they hog more. A substrate tends to provide moisture, where the higher demand is. Those pins, with a head start, demand more, and get it.
Learn to patch early growth. Until you have a fairly even growth. Keep the Rh HIGH. To supply more moisture. An even demand from developing pins. Gets you a fairly even pin-set.

You will always have a few, growing faster. That is just the "nature" of survival of the fittest.
