Trichocereus cacti question

i see alot of Trichocereus species. are they all safe to eat. if not what is safe and that goes for and cacti. thanks for the help.

Well I don't know of any that would be considered "unsafe", but there are two species which are known to posess mescaline in quantity, and a third which posesses it but in lesser quantity (although the significance of mescaline contained in it is debated).
They are Trichocereus pachanoi, Trichocereus peruvianus, and Trichocereus bridgessii (my spelling on the last one may be incorrect), respectively.

theres also trich terschekii, and trich macrogonous.

check erowid, they have a list of commonly used mescaline sources, though the most common here have been mentioned.

They sure as hell can be. Given a random sample of each, I'd put my money on the bridgesii being stronger.
And I would *certainly* put my money on the macrogonus being stronger than the pachanoi any day.
And do yourself a favor and skip getting a live peruvianus if your goal is to trip. Too many variables. You'll likely end up disappointed.
