Heat Cube
    #593252 - 03/29/02 10:41 PM (21 years, 5 months ago)

Hey guys, stoned on a Friday night and curious as to how to speed up mycelium growth in jars- my closet is a tinge cold lately (where my jars are resting), probably around 64 F. As i understand this isn't a harmful thing- just slows the proccess... Anyway- would temporarily putting a heat cube (say 10 minutes) in the closet then leaving it the night work? Or would it get too hot?

If you are talking about an electic heat cube....the heater type.
I wouldn't use that.....2 reasons.....you don't want dry heat, that might dry out your jars......and you might catch the house on fire.

Make an incubator.
