Just a simple question.

I've searched the entire cultvation section and the forums. I can't seem to find two critical points of information that come together in one post. Either that, or my level 6 searching skills are in apparent need of training.
The Problem
I have a 30 gallon tub with 2" of Perlite and .75" of water being run under a wick type cool mist humidifier, running non-stop with a 4:1 water:hydrogen mixture. I can barely stay in the 80's for humidity and my cakes are drying if not misted 2-3 times a day.
What I am trying to find
Is the brand name and location (either online or in a store) of an impeller driven cool mist or ultra sonic humidifier. That's it. I can't seem to find a post where someone references the purchasing location of an impeller driven cool mist or a good respectable ultra sonic humidifier along with a brand name and where they bought it
Any suggestions would greatly help. Thank you.

Good will type stores, wal-mart, fred meyer, many pharmacy type stores like walgreens, bi-mart, costco, etc.
Read the box. If it says something about a wick, evaporation, ultrasonic, sonic, or heat, it's not an impeller type.
*TIP* Open the box in the store and see if it has an impeller.

Thank you for responding so quickly, Cappa.
I thought the one I just bought was an impeller type, as I saw -- well, an impeller that appeared as if it functioned to push air.
What exactly does this impeller look like? I'm assuming that what I saw is in every humidifier as something must push the moisturized air out. Perhaps I have the wrong visual of what an impeller is.

It's a V shaped hollow tube attached to a spinning disk. It draws water up from the tub, and the high speed of the spinning disk spits out a very fine mist.
However, if you'll simply get rid of the humidifier and dump the standing water out of your perlite, you'll have 99% humidity within an hour or so. Humidifiers are more for larger grow areas such as mini-greenhouses with cased bulk substrates. RR

It looks like a cone connected to the center of a wheel. The wheel often has little bumps or spikes around it's outermost edge.
This entire apparatus spins, the water is then sucked(impelled) up the cone in the center and guided to the output of the humidifier through the spikes or bumps.

Thank you again gentleman. I'll keep an eye out for that on my next trip to Walmart and Goodwill. I'll go ahead and dump my water now. I've turned the cool mist humidifier off.
Can you recommend any particular brand of humidifier, for me to keep an eye out for?

Vics 420. But you don't need it until you build a greenhouse. RR

your tub might do better with three inches of damp perlite.
no standing water, no humidifier.
but there you go anyway.

Thanks gents.
RR, I was going to use it for FAE purposes only. I'll be building a Martha setup soon too though. (:

Alright, dumped the water, perlite is at 2 1/4" now and my Masons Hygrometer reads 98-100% (:
Looking around for the V420 now.
Thanks again mates.
