The Value of Life
    #5932394 - 08/04/06 06:55 PM (17 years, 5 months ago)

"Judgements, value judgements concering life, for or against, can in the last resort never be true: they possess value only as symptoms, they come into consideration only as symptoms -- in themselves such judgements are stupidities. One much reach out and try to grasp this astonishing finesse, that the value of life cannot be estimated. Not by a living man, because he is a party to the dispute, indeed its object, and not the judge ot it; not by a dead one, for another reason. -- For a philosopher to see a problem in the value of life thus even constitutes an objection to him, a question-mark as to his wisdom, a piece of unwisdom." -- Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols

the value of life is only valued to the one who live.
life is of relative worth;
To Live, is an attempt to value ones existance.

in the end, life is worthless to those who are unconscious of the one who lives.

why value life if nothing is of worth? i say live, be happy and let die. nothing else is of worth.

Nothing is of worth yet we insist on creating value in things and ideas.

The question is hallow without a definition of worth.

Worth - something of value.

The only thing I ever valued is knowing life will end. shit that messes everything up doesn't it.
