Im just asking if its possible. Over here in Texas where the mouth brazos meets the gulf, i was looking across the river and could see long horns. The field must use the beach and the river as a natural barrier. Only boaters ect can make it there as there is no way in hell any cars can make it there. But i got my Kayak. With my Jeep, i can get to the furthest part of the beach, and with the kayak i can kayak to the other side. Is it worth the effort to try and look for shrooms over there? or dose being so close to salt-water have negative consequenses?

I have never heard of mushrooms (especially active mushrooms) growing from sheep poop.

right on
just don't look right on the sand, where the salt water would hit the poo.
otherwise, it would probably be a prime field.

i've picked P. femetaria or a similar active species from goat dung in thenorth west; though that was the only time i encountered it during my stay up in washington.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
