I got lucky! First grow-pics

So at the beginning of the season I planted 3 patches. One got trampled by deer, one I don't know what happened, I'm guessing rabbits because all the plants disappeared completely except for roots and there were no footprints anywhere, but with the thirs I think I found a good spot, no sign of any activity at all. Anyway a few weeks in I got a new job and didn't have enough time to go and water during two weeks of 100 degree dry weather, but this is right next to a river, so the water table is fairly high and I guess the plants were able to get their roots down to it because I went back the other day and they're all alive! quite lanky because a bunch of tall grass grew up around them, but I just might get something out of then later this year...
Any input would be greatly appreciated
 Early Misty
Two Early Misty's and a bagseed
There a few other bagseed plants in this area, all small. The two early misty's are about to the middle of my thighs, and the bagseed plants are abotu a foot and a half high.
The spot- a hole in the bushes I stumbled upon
Sorry about the laughably low image quality, I wasn't expecting to find anything and I only had my phone with me.
Think I have any chance of getting a harvest? Shit I'll be happy if I get a gram. I Watered and fed them and pulled the grass that was covering up their leaves, so hopefully they'll put on a little bit of size in the next couple weeks before they flower.
It's kind of pitiful I know, but not bad for plant-and-forget, I guess... I'm just amazed they made it through the heat.

Well so long as they're not all males, and they do survive till harvest time, it's more than likely you'll get a good size bag from 'em. Personally judging from past experience, if you just leave them like that you might pull in anywhere from as little as 1/8 to as much as an Oz. Although they seem to be lanky, you could try pinching stems to get em to thicken up. I got 12 outside (all lanky as well but thriving none the less), four of 'em alittle over 3ft, and the rest all alittle over 1 1/2ft. They too are bagseed and I'm hoping I can make a substantial hual. If not, I sorta plan on using what I will be left with, taht being tons of leaves, and whipping up a few batches of brownies!

next time dig up your spots ahead of time and add nutrients. grass is a good sign the ph is right... if there are pine trees all over and no grass... add wood ash...
if the ground is dry... water it with fert... it "will" make a big difference. once a week is better than never.

I did dig up and turn over the top foot or so early this spring and mixed in all the dead grass from last year. I watered with a generic all purpose nutrient solution, 15-15-15 with micronutrients, and will continue watering as often as possible, since I found a much easier path to the plot. I am not so concerned with yield, was just bored this spring so I thought I'd set a little something up for meself. Might go for the gusto next year. Here's hoping for girls!
