Tripping on a dry lake bed.

My friend and I like to landsail on this dry lake bed in the Mojave desert, and after trying shrooms, last spring we decided it would be an amazing place to trip. This would be our first time tripping in nature and we were really looking forward to it. We drove for two hours and finally got there. Driving out on the lake bed filled us with excitement as we thought about our upcoming trip. We parked out in the middle and got out to observe the beautiful clear sky and the massive expanse surrounding us. There was not a soul to be seen. All around us we could see for a good 20 miles. We ate nearly an eighth and sat back in our chairs looking at the mountains on the horizon still covered in snow from the last rain. As we started feeling the effects, small clouds began to creep toward us over the mountains and spill down into the valley. The clouds looked so amazing as they began to take on different shapes. As the clouds approached, and as our trip began to pick up speed, they began to turn darker and became much more massive. They were extremely low and were getting closer every second. Once they reached us, we were fully enveloped by the trip. The clouds that were so small white and distant had turned into massive dark shapes moving overhead. A 20 mile per hour wind gradually picked up as the clouds approached as well. They were moving so quickly overhead it was unbelievable. The clouds felt as though they were representative of trip, and we were creating the situation. We felt like gods. We sat cross legged on the floor of the lake bed facing into the wind and felt the power from the earth and from ourselves As the trip calmed down, the clouds passed. We were left with clear Skies, the refreshing feeling of the cool air, and light breeze. The sun felt amazing on our faces and the sky seemed so clear. Our minds were clear as well. We talked about life and watched birds float motionless on the wind for the rest of the day. It was without a doubt the most amazing experience of my life. I still am amazed that the clouds came and went just as trip did. The last picture was taken while we were tripping. I still feel the intensity from that picture. My friend took that picture when we were feeling like gods. I will never forget that day.
