You could make your own, with fertilizer, and diesel. But you might end up in Federal prison, with a new friend .

Oooh Zippos I'm worried man.. what'cha gonna to do with that fertilizer-biodiesel mix
Zippos, you underestimate things gravely.
If you "blow something up" then fragments of that something will fly around at speeds several times that of a bullet. If you get hit by that at a mile distance: finito.
Lets say you want to go for a good woomph - a one kilo charge of explosives. There is a circle half a mile across where it is WAY to dangerous to be in. In a circle one mile across you can get flyrock and lethal shrapnel. In a circle two miles across people can still be lethally hit by the debris of the explosion, or "merely" have half a brick fall on top of their head. Finally, in a circle fifteen miles across people will be alerted to the fact that "a bomb went off".
Technically, since 9/11, basically nothing is legal, especially if you're going to work with explosives without a licence. Its, like they say, "frowned upon".
Zippoz - I know and admire your enthusiasm, but that very enthusiasm can get you maimed or killed when it comes to explosives. And on top of that - you can go to jail for such things.

well, the place where im going to be doing this, property im going to own in a few months time, is literally a few miles from a navy bombing range, so shit blowing up, not a big deal. as for the shrapnel,
said property has a 200+ foot deep open pit mine
im thinking that i can probably get some dynamite legally for mining purposes and let some of that rip in the pit.
its a damn cool place, noone for well over 20 miles in any direction

im thinking dynamite strapped to a propane tank or two, in the pit, ill just set up a video camera behind a blast shield, looking at the explosion through a mirror or somthing
BOOM

dudde, if you saw what i was talking about you would understand.
if i recall youre over in europe, and i dont think that anywhere you have the amount of vast open land that im talking about here. literally there is noone for 20 miles and thats over a mountain range.
i could totally pull it off, and the area im in mining is the largest industry, so if i want to do some prospecting, and i need some dynamite, im sure that it would be encouraged
BOOM, shit whered my left hand go. Fuck

maybe start small and make some mouse mines. take iodine crystals rinse in ammonia. oh yeah only handle when wet. place cheese nearby then the mouse comes walking by boom. just joking i dont advocate hurting any animal unless you are going to eat it.

Thats some particularly bad advice!
You're recommending the world's most unstable high explosive, and make only casual mention of safety.
This is a bad idea.

well i really dont think we should be talking about explosives here. my post was made as a joke. this site doesnt need any correlation to explosives as it could be interpeted in the wrong manner(terrorism).
