It doesn't resemble any of the well known Psilocybes to me at first glance. In your area the first species that comes to mind is P. caerulipes but the coloration and season is all wrong. Is that all you found?

The Pellicle is a thin layer or skin on the cap that can be peeled off of the mushroom. It is a common trait of Psilocybes.

i found only those two. although there were probably more i just didnt look very hard. as for the pellicle i can find no membrane or anything to peel off. although the caps are slightly shiny if that could indicate a pellicle... the only thing that made me think it could be a psilocybe was the bruising.

it does look like bruising wich makes me curious. I've been looking for candidates in other Genera that might be active and grow in your area but haven't had any luck yet.
Has the cap changed in color since it has been drying?
Do you have enough spore deposit to see spore print color yet?

There are other mushrooms that bruise blue, and are not edible or active.

yes...and since these dont really look anything like the actives that are supposed to grow in my area so i dont thnk they are
and as for the spore print...it seems that either the spore print is white..or its not dropping any spores. but i did it on lined paper so the white would have showed up on lines right? but it hasnt't its just weird.

Put one on piece of white paper and one on a piece of dark-colored papter.
Put of eye-drop of water on each cap surface.
Put a cup or small bowl over each cap.
Leave for 24 hours.
I can tell you those are not worth it. They are too small, for any edibily purposes, and I'm PRETTY sure they are not actives. I might be wrong, but I'm PRETTY sure.

On second hand, it COULD be a Psilocybe. I wouldn't know where to start in IDing that, though. It sure looks like it is bruising blue, like a Little Brown Psilocybe would. Well this could turn out interesting.
Later. Odd specimen you have there.

I think it's worth trying to ID just to find out what it is. Obviously it's not worth attemting to eat. It may very well have white spores and since you have already started printing and only have one cap I would just leave it overnight. If it does have white spores you can still usually see them once they have collected in enough mass to show some texture over the paper.

You guys are blind! It looks exactly like Pluteus Salicinus! An extremely rare and fairly unknown active mushroom. Find more! Print them all! But do not consume simply on my id as im only about 85 percent sure on this one.

Well some things about it look very Pluteus-like. Growing straight off of wood even further suggests so... too bad you weren't able to get a print.
The gills of Pluteus salicinus are supposed to be free. From the pictures the gills don't really look free though it's hard to tell. It could have something to do with the specimen being too small (and might become more obvious with age). Usually Pluteus mushrooms don't have obvious free gills until they get more mature. Pluteus salicinus gets pretty big in age and looks very much like cervinus. Almost identical from what I understand only it bruises blue.
I'd suggest that you try to remember where you found it and try to go back to the same location to see if you can get some more mature/fully developed specimens. That way we can have a chance to look at the gill attachment and find out the spore print color. If I was able to view a mature specimen, I could easily tell if it was a Pluteus or not without much doubt. Don't forget about it, try and get some fresh specimens. It looks promising.

Here's an example of Pluteus salicinus which looks very similar or identicle to you find.

What do you mean?? Umm, that doesn't bear much resemblence to a species of Psilocybe... look at the gill colour- it's white.
Did you mean that it might contain psilocybin?
