is it possible to go out to our favorite shroom field, find a piece of cow shit that already has mecy and somehow doctor it to produce more shrooms? like break it up, make it porus and case it again. Try and find the life in the existing mecy in the dung? Can it be done? i dont see why not. any comments?

Its possible, but not something you'd want to do. You would be bringing a lot of variables into your mix.

You can toss a few of those producing patties into and around a compost pile, and they'll fruit later. I wouldn't attempt it as you suggested or especially indoors.
