This thread is for those odd tracks we all have one or two of that are just too weird for words. Post them here! The key word is BIZARRE here, please no mainstream stuff and please use a .zip file so people can take the file with them regardless of their browser
As for this song:
All those Norse black death metal bands have got it all wrong Satan music shouldn't sound like someone flushing the toilet at the steelworks, it should be joyous and suitable for all the family.
Please listen and watch in horror as these rock musicians drag you to the Dark Lord's Devouring Maw, accompanied by flute and pizzicato violin

Nice nice, good stuff!
In them thar days of old people used to listen to music on vinyl records. The problem was that a record had to be filled minutewise to make it work, not like CDs which sometimes end before they begin.
Anyway, sometimes your record was ALL THAT, but there was a hole of a few minutes that had to be filled.
No problem said the boys of Venom, we'll make a song on the fly. And they did. Its called AAAAAARRRGGHHH!! and I've attached it, with the lyrics posted for your listening pleasure.
AAAAAAARRGGHHH - Venom
AAAAAARRGHH
Whoo - What's goin on dudes - Let me guess - that's right - groovy - Whooo
"What the fuckin hell is all this fuckin shit?" "Get out of here you fuckin bastards!" "Haw man - Get out!" "How eh what the f-"
AAAAAARRGHH AAAAAARRGHH
ARM PIT ARM PIT ARM PIT AAAAAARRGHH GEET BIG FUCKIN ARM PIT AAAAAARRGHH SMELLY FUCKIN ARM PITS AAAAAARRGHH ARM PIT - AAAAAARRGHH AAAAAARRGHH
AAAAAARRGHH AAAAAARRGHH
"Had on - had on - right - hey" Aaaaaarrghh Aaaaaarrghh "Hold on - what the fuck - haw man can you not say Aaaaaarrghh properly" "How eh play the cunt properly will yu - will you" Aaaaaarrghh Ah.
AAAAAARRGHH ARM PIT FUCKIN ARM PIT AAAAAARRGHH MORE SMELLY ARM PITS GEET BIG FUCKIN BELL-ENDS AS WELL
AAAAAARRGHH AAAAAARRGHH FUCKIN AAAAAARRGHH THAN THE LAST TIME AAAAAARRGHH AGAIN AND AAAAAARRGHH A-FUCKIN-GIN AAAAAARRGHH
"Shaddap! You noisy bastards shaddap" Do as you're told and shut up man"

The interesting thing is that this "come to the sabbat" song by its lyrics and music actually shows genuine knowledge of the Occult, which is a lot more than those Norse Black Scrapmetal bands do. Too bad they had to drag satan into it, otherwise it might well be the anthem of those who study traditional European magic.

For those who liked the first song I posted: the plot thickens.
I found another version of the song which is different in a very peculiar way.
First of all the song is now sung in a witches coven's manner, with a "high priestess" taking the lead, taking the stick from the initiate.
What would not do for Wiccans? Well, umm, for one thing, the "Satan's There" bit in the chant. Check this: they now not actually sing that. If you listen closely in this version they drop a vowel right in the place where it matters, the one that separates the "satan" from the "there" resulting in something like "saytenzer" which drops the satanic connection, in part.
In part, because the other thing that would not do would be invoking ASTAROTH, which is the Grand Duke of Hell. Guess what: they don't really sing that too because they drop two vowels here, and what also happens and is more obvious: the addition of NEAR in "who's very name **** stills my heart" which is of spiritual importance because the former version could be inviting cardiac arrest onstage
So damn, its not impossible that a (wiccan) witches coven had a hand in this version, which makes me wonder asbout the female singer and just how deep a rabbithole the band wandered off into.
This is ofcourse geekery of a former Wiccan with too much free time on his hands, but it suddenly struck me and it all checks out.

When I first found that track, my room mate played it on his system (NICE one!) with his two 18" subs up as high as we dared. We opened his bedroom window, which faced the street, and put the song on.
Right near the end when it hits that BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM part, this guy who was watering his lawn across the street actually DROPPED THE HOSE and ducked for cover!!!
We were in tears, laughing so hard.

Well, Captain Beefheart is pretty bizarre. ....You could also listen to some Einsturzende Neubauten, particularly the album Halber Mensch. Ummm, Mr. Bungle, Merzbow, Throbbing Gristle and Coil are some other bands that can be quite weird. Skinny Puppy is quite unorthodox as well. Maybe I'll post some stuff later on. All of my upload bandwidth is being used up currently so I can't do it now.

It's not mind-boggling bizaree, but this track from The Who Sell Out seems to always wierd out people I know. I played this in an art class that was used to listening to The Who (the teacher happened to be fond of them) and I was the only one who appreciated it as music. Hell, even the teacher wasn't familiar with it.
"Armenia City in the Sky", by The Who. from "The Who Sell Out".

Good, someone beat me to the Melt Banana. Good stuff there.
I lost most of my favorite eclectic and bizzarre music when my oldest hard drive died, but I have a few survivors. One is yousendit, because its too damned big otherwise. And while not exactly 'bizarre', I highly recommend The Books' "Thought for Food" album. Delicious listenable weirdness. Animal Collective - Hollinndagain (Forest Gospel/There's an Arrow/Lablakely Dress/Tell It to the Mountain/Pumpkin Gets a Snakebite)
-------------------- Q: We wanted to see if you had the ability to expand your mind and your horizons... and for one brief moment, you did. PICARD: When I realized the paradox... Q: Exactly. For that one fraction of a second, you were open to options you'd never considered. That's the exploration that awaits you...not mapping stars and studying nebulae... but charting the unknowable possibilities of existence. To carry yourself forward and experience myriad things is delusion. That myriad things come forth and experience themselves is awakening. -Dogen Zenji

OK, you want bizzare? You asked for it!!
I have an album entitled "THE SIGN OF 4". It was recorded 10 years ago by four prominent jazz musicians. Derek Bailey and Pat Metheny are on guitars and Gregg Bendian and Paul Wertico are doing percussion. It is a 3-disk set, each disk having its own name. The track I uploaded here is the first track (Evidently) off of disk 2 (The Science of Deduction). It is a pretty good representation of what you will find throughout all 3 disks.
I doubt it would be correct to even call this "music". I never have figured out exactly what four guys with such talent were thinking when they recorded such a strange album!

I actually quite like that track.
I suppose that they just wanted to do something different than what they were used to. Some people like insane music also. I do if I am in the right mood for it.

this is something i quite like but it's hard to listen to unless you're in the mood... it starts out pretty plain but it gets weird when she starts using her voice as an instrument... it's interesting (reminds me the medulla album by bjork...)
enjoy

Aspects of this song are rather bizarre, not too common, anyways. Especially the chorus, ya'll gotta at least listen to the chorus. I don't think that stuff has been around since the Wild West. Just wait for the piano...

DL'd every file in this thread. Gonna listen to them all right in a row. But, without even listening to any of them, I think I got the "bizarre" covered even better. Mike Patton with nothing else but a four-track while on vacation. I payed money for this long ago being such Mike-Patton's-sheep. Pissed me off, it was so .. a-tonal... good knowing that I can do -something- with it, now. Really, Had to look through all my CDs to find it so as to rip mp3s of it to post. Something I haven't had to do in a loooong time. Goddam, I really did neglect ripping this CD becuase I hate it. hah!. Thank you, to whomever started this thread? Wiccan? Too lazy to do the clicking to find out.. So, my $ I spent on whatever this is has a point now. Great. anywhooooo... a track from Mike Patton's "Adult Themes for Voice"

I like Adult Themes For Voice. I bought it ages ago, but forgot about it long ago. I'm probably going to have to listen to it again. What I liked most about that album is when I had friends trapped in my car on a road trip, I'd blare the shit out of that album and watch them squirm haha.

Yeah, that's good ol' Mike for you. Gimme a mintue and I'll post a strack that he did similar to that, but with John Zorn. If you know who that is. I must admit, I only know Zorn to be just as fucked up as Patton, but he "plays" a trumpet "along" with Mike's... thing. It's really very not-good-to-hear, but, it -is- what the title of the thread asked for. So hear we go. Ripping the disc...

As I said.. This is Mike Patton, yet again, but with Jon Zorn and others in a thing they called: "Pranzo Oltranzista" I paid hard earned money for this... listened to it maybe once or twice, just freaked me out. Haven't listened to it since. Been almost, dang, eight years? Attempt to enjoy it with me; if you can!

No idea what you meant by that. :/ But, and anyone with an ear worth a damn would agree with you're saying, Mike Patton is a "freaking vocal master". Really, he is. Hands down, my favorite singer of all time. Boggles my mind with all the bands and projects he has going at every second. Really, how does he do it? When does he sleep? Dude just goes and goes... Heard Peeping Tom yet? Good stuff. An all cllaborative album. Good stuff, mostly. Damn, i messed up that attachment in my previous post... Gonna remedy that, now.

Animal Collective - Hollinndagain (Forest Gospel/There's an Arrow/Lablakely Dress/Tell It to the Mountain/Pumpkin Gets a Snakebite)
i really liked the lights out track!!! the other one reminded me of lee ronaldo's "out side my window" for some reason.. (although i only skimmed through the track ) lee from Sonic Youth...
Sonic Youth have a bunch of "pure noize" cds called SYR 1-6 which are VERY bizzar i like some of them but again it takes a certine mood to listen to this stuff! they should hurry and come to israel already

I like it. Not all the time, but I definately like it. It's similar in spirit to some SunRa and Zorn material I have. It also reminded me of a disc I hadn't listened to in a while.
Surrender To The Air: Marshall Allen, Trey Anastasio, Kofi Burbridge, Oteil Burbridge, Damon R. Choice, Jon Fishman, Bob Gullotti, James Harvey, John Medeski, Michael Ray, Marc Ribot.
The disc was recorded during a weekend recording in someone's home or apartment or something where a lot of musicians came and went. So people would wander in, sit in and play, wander off. I don't have samples to upload (lost the disc) but these links go directly to streams of samples:

I'm having trouble finding a downloadable version of 4'33" by John Cage
but you don't need to DL to hear it... it's 4min and 33sec of silence. It's played live on stage and is even written on sheet music.

OK, last track for the night. This is a band called Dog Fashion Disco. Listen to the lyrics to the song, because it's just surreal when it's matched with the poppy upbeat music.

Mmmm, Fantomas. This song is off their first album, which contained NO lyrics whatsoever. It's merely scat vocals, shrieks and patterns created using a vocal sound. Influenced by Naked City/Painkiller (which I'll upload later).

The Berzerker are an Australian gabber grind band. This track actually woke up some poor sleeping asian dude on the bus when I was listening to it on headphones. This is a cover of old grind/gore legend, Carcass.

Halo are a noise/doom band from Australia (yeah, another Australian cunt). Lots of low end and tinnitus inducing moments. No melody whatsoever.

Try converting your mp3 to a smaller bitrate (yeah, it won't sound as good, but it'll lower the file size)
