This is my understanding. Our country has a set amount of money in the economy. Banks are insured by the FDIC. When interest rates are lowered, more money is created and destroyed. So that creates inflation, because there is more money in the economy, so people expect to get their full amount of dollars. Do you want to know why money is created and destroyed also?

Inflation is an increase in the volume of money and credit relative to available goods and services resulting in a continuing rise in the general price level.....

a rise in the general price level and also a rise in salary/income of the general public. when inflation happens, generally all other prices rise proportionally.

So then my social security investment rises as well? Or does that stay the same. Is their government company giving me a fair social security retirement with inflation interest? Or not. Also, other countries currencies are staying the same. Thus making foreign investment difficult, and third world countries poorer. Which is cool, right, let's use all the capitilist resources there are to better our own situation. This economic upturn will last 6 months, 12 months, until the inflation has caught up with the stimulus package, and our economy goes through the same thing that it does always. A steep drop, inflation causea a good percentage of average americans to be poor, homeless, without jobs, without recovery. This will happen every time inflation catches up with the economy. There have been many times, that this will cause foreign business to go bankrupt, and even some situations caused our stock market, and small business to collapse. So does this interest rate lowing cause banks to profit, hell yeah, so who keeps on profiting from this predictable cycle. The rich!, can we be rich and go with the cycle and control the capitilist econonmy just like they do, yes! It's a shame to capitilism, because through mathematics the aristocracy of the world has foiled capitilism's benefits, damn.

Here's my original post on inflation: If I was president.... I would raise inflation by 100% Cons Decreased security of money Bankruptcy of businesses and banks People in retirement would be sent back to work Pros Degradement of Class system further Currency begins to become equal worldwide All around lower class stability I think this might work in a majority vote. Opinions.... Chart 2002 ( or whenever i am president) Cash Money Jan --------- Feb ------ Mar--- Apr- May------ Jun------------ Jul-------------------- Aug------------------------- Sep-------------- Oct---------------- Nov------------------ Dec-------------------

****So then my social security investment rises as well? **** What difference does it make? You missed the whole point. Even if it does rise the cost of everything else rises as well therefore you take a loss. I thought this was common knowledge. ****Is their government company giving me a fair social security retirement with inflation interest? Or not.**** Fair is ralative..unfortunatly you're changing the subject. If you're depending on Social Security for your retirement then your going to be sadly disappointed. ****Also, other countries currencies are staying the same. **** Wrong....other countries are experiencing similar problems the US is facing. You seem to think that the US lives in a vacum. Where did you get your info? ****Thus making foreign investment difficult, and third world countries poorer.***** Wrong again..It makes foreign investments risky and third world countries will always be poor because of their governments ****A steep drop, inflation causea a good percentage of average americans to be poor, homeless, without jobs, without recovery. ***** But you said that inflation was a good thing..Circular argument. The rest of your post made no sense so i won't comment on it

Well, we both can agree that inflation is not good then. And maybe agree that inflation was caused by the lowering of interest rates. And definitely agree that Social Security is a scam, and should be done away with. (social security took 25 of my income last year!) Will the republicans support social security next election?

****Well, we both can agree that inflation is not good then. **** right... ****And maybe agree that inflation was caused by the lowering of interest rates. **** Partially...there's more than just that ****And definitely agree that Social Security is a scam, and should be done away with. (social security took 25 of my income last year!) **** Yes it is a scam and we should be able to invest it the way we seem fit....BTW SS didn't take out 25% (if that's what you meant)...that would be FICA..unless you get paid different ****Will the republicans support social security next election?**** No..they didn't do it this election what makes people think they will do it next election?
