i got 2 pink buffalo caseings brf/verm cased with just verm...

i got hella pins they are all growing from the side tho!!! whats wrong!!!!!!!!!! :frown:

Did the substrate pull away from the sides of the casing tray when it was re-colonizing the casing? If so, you have to patch case with your mix around the sides of the pan to make sure that pinning does not only occur in the oxygen and light rich sides of your container. Also, you should cover the sides of your tray with an opaque tape or tinfoil or something to keep light from initiating pinning on the sides of the trays. Look at Anno's post a few weeks back about pinning on the sides. He has an excellent picture of what you describe. You probably can't do anything about it now, but after the first flush, cover those sides up with something.
