I heard they are highly resistant. You think that it would be ok to use brand new jars that have not been pressure cooked?

are you cereal?
you still are going to need to sterilize your substrate somehow...actually i saw this one tek where you inoculate the water you use in the substrate formula and hope the mycelium takes over before bacteria or mold, but chances of success with that are slim. don't have the link anymore, try a search if you really want to go that route.
i strongly suggest getting a PC or at least microwaving or whatever to sterilize.

The cambodians are known for very low potency however.

inoculating unsterilized jars is about as likely to work as squirting your spores into the air and hoping the grow off your carpet. most cube strains are very very similar, even if they're considered more contam resistant than others, its a very subtle difference at best. i garuntee they stand no chance on an unsterilized substrate in a jar.
microwaving is hit or miss too.
im guessing this is your first attempt, so do it right. things will be hard enough as it is without half-assing your way through the first couple of crucially important steps. if they're pf jars, you can steam sterilize by boiling. no fancy equipment needed, and it works, doesn't get any easier than that. PCing is best when you can, but if you cant, steam sterilizing should be the only alternative you consider... none of the other methods have proven to be consistent or easy to follow. do some reading...
