pressure cooker question

ok so i cooked a few jars with alumin foil on top of them.
now the bottom of my pressure cooker is black. i do wish to use this to cook food in as well. it looks like it leached off the foil wtf is it?
i hear your not sopposed to use metal scour pads so whats the best way to get this shit off then? its an AA cooker.

SOS pad is a metal scour pad...
you could try some comet and a sponge, but if it was me, id just use the scour pads: whats the worst that could happen
if you have the manual, read that and see if it says how to clean it, or try lookin up the manual on the interwebnet

Some vinegar helps to remove mineral deposits at least. That might help. I say just use some chore boy or the like.
