I worked in a gay bar for a couple months, a friend ran it and I heard lins like that all the time when they found out I was straight, the upside of working there is that it is an after hours club, and when the strip clubs emptied out the strippers came there to do their partying

work on clearing your record, it may keep you out of 44c if not the service altogether, lately I've considered re-enlisting

alright that ones pretty much how it sounds. you will work in a financial office and file complaints that other people have. from my understanding most places are going civilian in the financial department (along with most paper pushing jobs)so that could ultimatly screw you. if you want to push paper than thats up your field let me go check the promotion point for that field so i can see if it is good in terms of promotion. ill be back

let me know if ur going to re-enlist.. if u re-enlist do u have to go back to basic?

felony usualy means no entry to the service in any capacity, call a recruiter and find out if thats changed and payroll does require a clearance but it's not somehting that a drug offense would bar you from

there is a point system to get promoted (above e-4) in the military. you get points for boards, military education, civilian education, pt tests, wepons qualification, awards, and a few from the commander. so the most points one can achieve is 800 and you are all but guaranteed to get 280. that jobs points have been siting at 730, which is considered extremely high. so that translates into poor promotion chances. you basically have to be maxed out on everything which is really really hard. not a good job. let me go get a link so you can see what im talking about and see what ones have lower promotion points.

as you can see thats pretty damn high. for example im a 91W and my points are 589 for e-5. and that is considered pretty high, but still obtainable if you try.

I think, after taxes, I make $35,000. It's about 45,500 before taxes.
But I just put my two weeks notice in.

glad i could help, just a forwarning on "safe" jobs. in combat non combative jobs often get called to attach with combative jobs to go on missions, and you are at a big disadvantage cause you dont have the uptodate training.
