wondering about ak shrooms?

i've been searching the web for info on Alaska mushrooms... found some hope for the fall. Apparently the psilocybe cyanescens shroom grows in the region. Check out this link.

I'm new to the whole mushroom hunting scene, short of morels in burn areas, but these guys definately look familiar. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Please, if you're familiar, there's a lack of info out there, i'd like to hear what you got and I'm sure others would too.

Sorry but the only known identified psilocyian mushroom from Alaka is Panaeolus subbalteaus..

There is currenly no scientific reports confirming that P. cyanescens has been identified from Alaka.

Sorry. There are people in Alaska ho do grow P. cubensis and arket them.

I'll keep the hopes up anyway, I've seen a lot of different types of mushrooms growing here and there outdoors in Alaska, always been intrigued by em. Now i've got the info i need for good id's, so come this fall i'll share what, if anything, i might find. (or maybe just keep to myself ;-) ) Still hopefull but somewhat sceptical...
