ive managed to keep the mildew at bay. now im wondering about harvest. i like to leave the leaves on when drying but am a bit worried about this because i dont want to get moldy flowers. also, when is the last day that i should spray with mildew spray (made of copper)? should i wash off leaves? as soon as i harvest, should i trim?? will powdery mildew get into the flowers?

I'd stop spraying if you haven't.
Trim the leaves as soon as you harvest it can go into the buds, it's rare but it can.

Do you think Serenade spray is safe to use a few weeks into flowering?

From Serenade's website @ http://www.serenadegarden.com/labels/pdf/RTU_MSDS.pdf --------------------------------- SECTION 5: HEALTH HAZARDS Primary Route of Entry: Inhalation, Oral, Eye Exposure Limit: Not established Corrosive: Not corrosive Inhalation: Harmful if inhaled Skin Irritation: May be irritating to skin for some individuals Effects of Overexposure: If product comes in contact with skin, irritation may occur Toxicity: None of the components of this product are listed as carcinogenic by NTP, IARC, or OSHA. IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. ----------------------------
I wouldn't want to smoke it, but its probably okay in the first few weeks of flowering. I remember seeing an Ask Ed about it, and he said a 20% skim-milk/water mixture would work, you may want to try that first if the mildew isn't really bad.
EDIT: I haven't tried this treatment, so I can't comment on its validity, but here's some info on it: http://www.apsnet.org/online/BCTests/reports/2002/PT16.pdf
