magic mushrooms???

tomorrow im going to be purchasing some shrooms for the first time in 2 years. ive only gotten them one other time. i would like to know any tell tale signs for whether im getting the real deal for not. i've only gotten them once before, and i dont wanna get ripped off. i know about the blueing effect, but is there any other way to tell? is there any possiblitly that i will get shrooms that are real and dont blue? are there any shroms that will have the blueing and be fake? please help me...im a newbie to shrooms and would like to try to get the real deal.

There are lots of psilocybe cubensis foto's in erowids mushroom vault. There you can see how they're supposed to look.

lots of the pics on erowid of dried shrooms look just like any other dried mushroomm would. many dont have blueing....i dont know what to do, whether or not to buy them if they dont have blueing. can anyone help me out?

Here's how you tell if they're fake:

First, have someone else drive. When you buy them, ask to buy a little extra, say a gram or so, and eat it on the spot. If you feel a tingle, buy the rest. If your dealer is being straight with you, he shouldn't mind a little extra inconvenience of this.

I can't help much with your question, but I can clear up the blueing for you. They won't blue once they are dry. If you bruise them before they dry they will turn blue and remain blue once dry. So if you are buying dry shrooms from someone blueing isn't something you will always see.
