Is it time...?
    #5924431 - 08/02/06 04:50 AM (17 years, 5 months ago)

Here in summer, the daily temperatures are about 30°-38°C, and at night about 20°-25°C, the soil was dry untill yesterday when it started to rain, now it is raining almost 24 hours, and the weather forecast says that the rain will fall for a few more days, with daily temperatures not exceeding 25°C...

Are these climate parameters ok for subbs or liberty caps?

It's O.k. for Panaeolus subbalteatus, but too hot for Psilocybe semilanceata which need something like =<10°C during the night and =<15°C during the day. And let it rain some more.

It's too warm and too early for Psilocybe semilanceata.
There might be a chance to find some Panaeolus subbalteatus a few days(a week) after the rain.

I. Mushroom Hunting Forum rules

3. Do not ask if the current weather is "good for shrooms."
These threads are flat out annoying, and will be locked. This information can easily be found with a little bit of research.
As a general rule of thumb, if it has rained within the last 2-3 days, and the temperatures are correct for the type of mushroom you're looking for, then *yes* it is possible that the mushroom you are looking for is growing.
