I'm barely high off 4 grams. Three days ago I made 3 grams with no boiling and was nice and high. I'm gonna have to make me a couple more grams the right way just so I can enjoy this tonight. Never gonna boil again, I'll tell ya that.

I make mine with the coffee machine.
First I run a half a pot of water through it and get a nice dark brew, I drink that first and then run a half pot through a second time and the resulting tea is way more light.. any more than that would just be a waste of time.

How many/big are the pods? I usaully go by this vs. grams. Plus you could have just gotten shitty pods. You know the potency isn't always the same in nature.

maybe its just kind of a close call.
maybe a slow boil seems is good for extracting morphine efficiently, but a rolling boil might be enuff to destroy it...

what you should do is soak your grounds in cold water for 24 hours, then boil the same grounds for 20 -30 minutes. combine liquids, of course only after the boiled solution has cooled.
or try just eating the grounds straight up.

The pods are good potency. I boiled for like 2-3 minutes then steeped for 20 min. The 4 g I boiled was 2 ex large pods.
The usual way I do it and the results are always good, is I boil the water (with a splash of lime juice) then turn off the heat completely and then add the powder and steep for 20 min.
Maybe that's even too hot.

well doesent that mean that the procedure isnt causing the problem if it served u well several times?

You honestly don't need to boil at all. Just use some heated, but not boiling, water and stick it in a jar with some crushed pods. Shake that up a couple times over about 10-20 minutes and strain. Thats all you need to do. You actually shouldn't even need to heat it because everything you want from the pods is easily soluble in room temperature water.

The best results I've had are doing this:
Soak FINELY ground pods in cold water for at least 24h, then filter and put on the stove on the lowest setting possible so it's barely even hot. you should be able to put your hand in it. Let this evap way down then pur into a glass dish and let it evaporate the rest of the way, scrape up and roll into little balls and eat. I really don't think heat is in any way neccesary or helpful in extraction. Ice-o-lated pod putty would probably be best, but seems to me like it could be quite inefficient.

I've tried MANY different methods of pod consumption. When I make tea, I heat water until it's simmering (just starting to get bubbly and steamy) and then soak the ground pods in it for a half hour. Never had any problems with that.

At the Club Opium forums (sister forum of poppies.org http://adh.2.forumer.com/index.php?s=f9c7a384798591259018739d34f41918&showforum=4) the older users that had been drinking steeped tea for ages agreed that the same amount boiled for 20 minutes nearly made them OD.
