O.K., I've let this latest gimmick of mine run long enough. The surprise really pertains to Canadians only, afterall were the only ones that matter anyway right? Beginning next week Sporelab is selling our own knock-off of the DB and Dr.Bluethingy compost kit. We are only selling these to Canadians because you Americans are already full of shit. Unlike the other vendors, my shit doesn't stink. You will be able to grow your own monster B+'s like the ones in the picture that I'll post later. O.k., that's it. The line forms here for those ready to give me their money. Sorry, no Canadian Tire money.

Ugh, can I hear a little more information. Prices etc. I've been wanting to use compost for a while it'll be great having somebody so close to me with it.

Well, I'm sure most of you realize 'Copy_Cat' does not speak for the SporeLab or Captain Max! Basically, what I am working on is a complete tek explaining how to grow shrooms on a dung and straw substrate, like the commercial growers do. This B+ was grown likewise:
But you know, I do have access to a commercial pasteurizer, I may just look into supplying dung. It would of course, be available to all!

whats the pH of that compost??

I have no idea and the guy who grew them prolly has no idea but judging from the size of those shrooms, he must have been pretty close to the right level. As for the ph of the dung I may make, I'll let you know when I make it but needless to say, we'll be shooting for proper levels. Right now its all an idea in my head but I do have access to the pasteurizer and there are horses next door...how convenient!

Well that would be a good idea for you to supply compost to Canadians CApt. Max. I think you may find its more trouble then its worth tying to send it across the border through customs. Once you lose a couple orders, or more, and have to reship them and eat those shipping costs a few times it wont look so appealing But I'm sure many Canadians would enjoy that service. So what are you waiting for... get busy shoveling shit

I do not think this will be as effective as the free karma with every purchase. Who knows? Onward. I love surprises CaptainMaxMushroom. Speaking of surprises and coming soon. Please tell us about the 'Hawaiian Conehead' mushrooms. I have asked you repetedly and you have not answered. I see the 'Hawaiian Coneheads' are not available at this time! Are these really a substrain of the infamous B+/GoldenTeacher/PESHawiaain/PacificHybrid? Do you have any pictures of these mushrooms? When do you expect these spores to be available? After these many years of free advertiseing can the Shroomery count on your support? When will you be purchaseing an add banner here?

I don't know what you guys are on about....'Coming Soon' was in regards to a tek, the selling of compost is an idea that is only arising due to the replies to this thread! All I'm saying is...I'll look into it. One thing I'm wondering is if there is anything in particular I could maybe feed my next door neighbors horse to ensure top quality dung. Like a particular type of grain perhaps.

Coneheads are on the backburner. It is a very small mushroom and spores are hard to collect. I'm more comcerned with cubensis strains at the moment. Thanks for asking!

You are welcome CaptainMaxMushroom. Thank you for your partial reply. I am confused. Here you state
In reply to:
Coneheads are on the backburner. It is a very small mushroom and spores are hard to collect. I'm more comcerned with cubensis strains at the moment.
Are the coneheads not cubensis? On your web site you state
In reply to:
Sorry, not available at this time! Are these really a substrain of the infamous B+/GoldenTeacher/PESHawiaain/PacificHybrid? Decide yourself when you grow out this awesome little shroom. It germinates and colonizes like any other cubensis but likes warm (80's) temps to fruit. The shrooms grow in clumps of many small specimens, each with an umbanate cap, a 'conehead'. Multiple flushes are common. Casing is recommended. Although the origin of this mushroom is a little cloudy, the Master print was labeled 'Hawaiian cubensis'. Although there no native cubensis in Hawaiia, it is interesting to note that the native magic mushrooms of Hawaiia are known as Duncecaps or Coneheads. These mushrooms are extremely POTENT! In independent taste tests, 3 out of 4 shroomers agreed, these are the strongest shrooms they had ever tried! Decide for yourself with this new mushroom available only from the SporeLab!
I ask you again please tell us more about the 'Hawaiian Conehead' mushrooms. Are these really a substrain of the infamous B+/GoldenTeacher/PESHawiaain/PacificHybrid? Do you have any pictures of these mushrooms? When do you expect these spores to be available? I ask because I am interested in these mushrooms. I have never seen them spoken of anywhere other than your web site. I have never seen these spores available on your web site. Also, after these many years of free advertiseing can the Shroomery count on your support? When will you be purchaseing an add banner here? I am not the only person who is interested. Thor has said that he has received inquiries on this issue.

I don't say it's anything other than a mystery and when I say cubensis, I'm obviously talking about cubensis strains that fruit nice big nushrooms with juicy sporeprints. Is that too hard for you too figure out? And as to how I run my business, I'll make it real simple....how I run my business is none of your business!

Thank you for your partial reply once again CaptainMaxMushroom. Why are you so evasive regarding the 'Hawaiian Conehead' mushrooms? That is not to hard for me to figure out. Although the origin of this mushroom is a little cloudy CaptainMaxMushroom, how cloudy is it? Do the spores of the 'Hawaiian Conehead' mushrooms that you never have available exist? I have never seen these spores available on your web site. Has anyone? Always sorry, not available at this time! Comeing Soon! Never for sale. http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.sporelab.com/ A search of your old web site url would show the same. Have you ever sold the spores from the 'Hawaiian Conehead' mushroom you advertise? Do you have any pictures of these extremely POTENT! mushrooms? It is interesting to note that you say "In independent taste tests, 3 out of 4 shroomers agreed, these are the strongest shrooms they had ever tried!" These extremely POTENT! mushroom producing spores would be a big seller for your business CaptainMaxMushroom. If you ever had these spores in stock. Decide for yourself with this new mushroom never available only from the SporeLab! And as to how you run your business, I'll make it real simple....how you run your business says a lot about the type of man you are CaptainMaxMushroom! What about some elephant dung ? I have about 10 elephants in my back yard that do nothing more then eat and shit all day long...I think it would be time for me to profit off of them after all feeding a fully grown elephant cost quite a few $$$ !!! Seriously though has anyone ever tried growing psilocybes with elephant shit ? Would it work or is that shit too powerfull for mushrooms ? Theres a zoo not very far from where I live and I'm sure they have to throw all of their elephants shit away maybe I could go and see them and buy some of it for growing...Any coments ? What about deer dung ? My father owns over 250 acres of land in Qu?bec and there are many many deer around perhaps I should try it out for myself ? After all deers eat only natural food like apples and grass and whatever has anyone ever tried it out ???

There is a company called zoodoo or something like that. So you are probably close on your elephant shit. Not sure which animal they use.....but people from the shroomery use the product. You might want to talk to Ralphster....he uses it. I don't know about deer shit.....try it out and let us know. I just started using horse poo....Wonder if i can get some Woodland Park Zoo poo ?

Bears are not like lions, they don't go hunting for fresh kill every night! They do like fish but mostly nibble on plants, fruit and berries. They also eat mushrooms. You can tell what they ate by looking at the dung. You can even tell what kind of berries they ate and once when we found some bear dung after he had a mushroom feast, a professional mycologist who was with me identified the mushrooms!

max i liked the link.It descibes in the compost section that chicken manure is added to the straw before the horse manure is.I always thought that straw and horse manure were fine. But to add chicken manure.Would adding both at the same time affect yeild?Any thoughts on chicken manure? Can you use this as a substrate alone?

You're a fuckin idiot rolf.....check out the link, you might learn something about mushrooms seeing how you know fuck all other than how to spam, flame and slander. You have proved again what a low life pice of shit you are. You think you know more than the commercial growers who put together that page? In batches the size they use, then a certain amount of chicken shit obviously is benificial, otherwise they wouldn't be using it. You think growing Psilocybe cyanescens is so hard? There is about 20 pages of information of growing that speice in The Mushroom Cultivator by Paul Stamets and Jeff Chilton and several more in How to Identify and Grow Psilocybin Mushrooms by Rich Gee and Julie Stevens. Maybe if you would spend less time flaming and scheming behind the scenes and more time reading, you might learn something. The only chicken shit that is no good around here, is YOU! Think you can come in here with one intention and one intention only, to flame and slander and hope you can get it locked with your lies and bullshit and disgusting display of distrustfulness? Take a hike TROLL. XOCHI, the substrate they were mixing was for Agaricus bisporus but if the nitrogen content of your bulk cubensis substrate is low, then chicken manure would prolly be a good addition. The pros use it!
