Those asian mushrooms grow on elephant dung and I think I read somewhere that horse and related animal dung is great. That includes deer, elk, maybe goat too I guess.
I have some moose and bear shit put away, I should try to do something with it!

Max.....I wouldn't think Bear poo would be good.
Cause they eat meat....I'm only guessing mind you.
Could you possible check it out if you do have some.
And let us all know if it does work.
Thanks!

You'd be surprised roadkill, bears are surprisingly herbivourous depending on the time of year.
Peace

Bears are not like lions, they don't go hunting for fresh kill every night! They do like fish but mostly nibble on plants, fruit and berries. They also eat mushrooms.
You can tell what they ate by looking at the dung. You can even tell what kind of berries they ate and once when we found some bear dung after he had a mushroom feast, a professional mycologist who was with me identified the mushrooms!

max i liked the link.It descibes in the compost section that chicken manure is added to the straw before the horse manure
is.I always thought that straw and horse manure were fine. But to add chicken manure.Would adding both at the same
time affect yeild?Any thoughts on chicken manure? Can you use this as a substrate alone?

You're a fuckin idiot rolf.....check out the link, you might learn something about mushrooms seeing how you know fuck all other than how to spam, flame and slander. You have proved again what a low life pice of shit you are.
You think you know more than the commercial growers who put together that page? In batches the size they use, then a certain amount of chicken shit obviously is benificial, otherwise they wouldn't be using it.
You think growing Psilocybe cyanescens is so hard? There is about 20 pages of information of growing that speice in The Mushroom Cultivator by Paul Stamets and Jeff Chilton and several more in How to Identify and Grow Psilocybin Mushrooms by Rich Gee and Julie Stevens. Maybe if you would spend less time flaming and scheming behind the scenes and more time reading, you might learn something.
The only chicken shit that is no good around here, is YOU! Think you can come in here with one intention and one intention only, to flame and slander and hope you can get it locked with your lies and bullshit and disgusting display of distrustfulness? Take a hike TROLL.
XOCHI, the substrate they were mixing was for Agaricus bisporus but if the nitrogen content of your bulk cubensis substrate is low, then chicken manure would prolly be a good addition. The pros use it!
