If you perceive life as a nightmare, then wouldn't death be the ultimate liberation?

Death is an extraordinarily powerful teacher. Often times monks would be sent to meditate on dead bodies or cemetaries. Contemplating death is a very good thing to do, as it can give you insight into the nature of reality and understanding of your present situation.
