This is kind-of gross and sad, but it helps answer my question

A while ago I posted a thread asking if having a spore syringe was legal in massachusetts. I realize the spores are legal, but I was really wondering about the syringe since I know hypodermic Syringes are illegal. I just wanted to know if there was a certain size that was the cut-off for being illegal. No one responded, so I mentioned it in a couple other threads and really didn't get anything back. Tonight I found this news article about a woman who died from getting liposuction from a guy in his house here Link It says in the article he was arrested for possesion of a hypodermic device I believe. I'm just still nervous that I'm gonna get busted for having a spore syringe and then it's gonna get plastered everywhere that I'm a heroin junkie with a mushroom spore addiction. lol.

why would needles be illegal?
type 1/a (cant remember) diabetics need them for their insulin.
wow i'd really hate to see someone with diabetes get arrested for having it without proper papers to prove they have diabetes. that'd be pretty tragic if they died, and quite the lawsuit.

I was curious about this so I did a little research and, until recently, possesion of a hypodermic needle in Massachusetts was a misdemeanor. But the Senate just passed a bill legalizing the open sale of hypodermic needles:
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massach...dermic_needles/
Good to see Massachusetts get a foot out of the stone age! My state has had clean needle exchange programs for years. Junkies are gonna use no matter what. Better it be with clean needles than HIV-laden ones.
Also I wonder if spore syringes would be considered "hypodermic needles". They aren't designed to go under human skin, but animal skin in some cases.

Main Entry: hypodermic syringe Function: noun : a small syringe used with a hollow needle for injection of material into or beneath the skin
an 18 guage needle would tear the fuck out of your arm. There's no way in hell you could be using it on yourself for drugs. If buying syringes were illegal, then a lot of farmers or people who own livestock out your way would have to go through a lot of hassle to get them.

I think romney vetoed that bill again and the otc sale in mass is still illegal. I remember reading that it was all set to pass and then he vetoed it at the last minute cause he wants votes for the election or some garbage. Anyway, I know the syringes we use are way too big for anyone to use for anything intravenous in humans, but I was just wondering what the cut-off point was for legal and illegal. I'd like to buy a couple packs of new spore syringes off ebay or something, but it just feels sketchy for right now. Right now I'm just using the syringes I've gotten from spore dealers over and over again. I've only got three at the moment

I was thinking that maybe farmers would need to go through some paper work to get their syringes and get a license or something. And diabetics obviously have a prescription

well, if you're near the border or dont mind the drive, go to the nearest state and rent a po box. A years rent is dirt cheap.

Sorry for bumping this but I wanted to add a story about one time I had my car parked at a place and when we were going back to it we could see a cop sitting there so we prepared for an encounter. When we got there the cop was like do you mind if we pat you down after he had asked who's cars the ones sitting there were. When I told him which one was mine after he had patted down the others he came up to me and hes like now you don't have any needles or anything on you do you? and I knew right away that he saw a needle through the window and I was like "Officer if you saw a needle in my car it's because I'm a diabetic" and I showed him the med-alert dog tag chain necklace thing and he seemed a little embarassed but he was like Well I had to investigate you know junkies use the same exact thing. I really think had I not been able to show him something he would have given me problems and I don't wear that necklace often so it was probably a good thing I had it on. I guess lesson of the story is if you're a diabetic wear something to prove it, theres a variety of ways in which it can help you.
