sorry to hear this. if it were me, my prioritie would be devoted more to solving my problems other than bitching about them and getting nothing done.

Who's running the fantasy football league then?
In all seriousness, that sucks man. Good luck with everything. Stay safe.

I think that you should want to serve your country if you're going to join the army. Being homeless and moneyless is not a good reason, in and of itself.

I'm very sorry to hear of your recent misfortunes man. Hopefully things take a turn towards the better for you soon. When do you plan on enlisting?
edit: There's no possibility of moving back in with your parents until you get your shit back together?

thanks man. as of right now i have to go thru this pretty extensive wavier process to even get into the army.. getting references, meeting with upper ranks of military for interviews, taking military classes, ect before i can even pick out a job and enlist.
so its looking like early october is when ill actually enlist, then probably leave for basic very soon after that

If you feel that's what you need to do to better yourself more power to you and best of luck man. My grandfather was a colonel in the US army, he has traveled quite a bit, met a lot of people, and has had great benefits his whole life.

yeah im not sure if its something i want to make a career of.. but i def think the discipline will benefit me, it will give me a chance to mature.. and also help me get an education after i finish serving my country.
its hard to commit for 4 years, but right now.. i think its necessary in order to benefit myself.

Be careful as to what position you enlist for dude. You don't want to end up in the line of fire over in Iraq or elsewhere in the middle east. Or is that something you're willing to do?
