Mushrooms growing in Window Planter

I have recently noticed a lot of mushrooms starting to grow in our window planter. We have poppies and daisies planted in it and I'm not sure why the mushrooms have started growing. The soil mix I used is called Expert Gardener Perfect Mix All purpose potting soil. The mushrooms grow and die in the period of a day but more and more keep showing up. I don't know a lot about this so any knowledgeable help would be appreciated.

LOL! I had Coprinus, "inky caps" popping up in my terrarium type chamber that I sprouted my Cactus seeds in! They were itty bitty too...
I even pasturized the soil before placing the seeds in it. Spores are VERY hardy!
If you search the hunting forum for "coprinus" or "inky" you will see some and be able to tell if that's what they are. They are called that because if you squeeze the cap between your finger and thumb it will turn to a black moosh looking like ink.
Mushroom growth in soil, such as your yard, is considered a good sign by many denoting rich soil and good moisture content. There were either spores in the soil when you bought it (like mine) or they landed there somehow. The are dropping more every time they pop up and so they will keep popping up if the enviroment is right. I would just feel good about it and if you have a decent camera with a macro setting, they make for great photos!

However, when you transcend all this pre-conditioning by returning to the original wisdom of the animal body, then you discover this immense dimension of opportunity. For some people, it is a frightening risk. To me, that's the psychedelic experience." Terence McKenna

I searched for the Coprinus ones and these really don't look like them. They each grow up fast each night and die by morning when other ones start to grow. They look yellow/orange when they first appear and then turn brown.

Im not sure what kind they are, but you would probably have better luck with an id if you post them in the Hunting forum.
Goodluck and nice photos

those look realllyyy similar to a bunch i found growing with some inky caps off wood chips. are the gills were really shallow and the flat caps curled right up and rinkled and turned inky just like an inky cap, so i figured they would be some type of coprinus.

I had Cubes growing in a couple potted plants. I inoculated one on purpose. Then they spread to the planter next to it on their own.
I had a hard time getting rid of them. The planter with the gnome kicked out 14-15 flushes before they died off.
